We provide day care in Kuala Lumpur for working parents. Normal Tadika hours are from 7.30 am to 11.30 am, and full day care after school hours is up to 4.00 pm. We have an outdoor area for our children to play.
During the afternoon we provide enrichment programs to enhance individual personalised development such as Mandarin classes, Arts & Crafts classes and Tuitions. Here are some samples of what children at our preschool in Kuala Lumpur can draw
Now is the best time to start learning Mandarin in Kuala Lumpur! Early exposure to Mandarin allows children to appreciate and enjoy learning the language. Classes are interactive and fun, with use of songs, games, activities and flashcards to facilitate the children’s ability to gain new vocabulary, develop accurate pronunciation and character recognition. Activity based learning focuses on communication, incorporating, speaking, listening, reading and writing
We instill good Islamic values by giving appropriate RELIGIOUS knowledge to children. In our Agama program, children are exposed to writing Jawi characters right and according to current developments. Children will also learn related words that start with the initial Jawi letters. Students will be taught how to read the Quran and memorize Surahs which will help in their prayers and their daily lives.
Example Surah: Al-Fatihah, Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falakh and daily prayers such as prayer before meals, bedtime, before studying and more.
During the session of Islamic learning, children learn the right way and the steps of Ablution and Salah. They also learn about the five pillars of Islam and Iman. They will be taught to perform daily prayers the proper way.
At the end of their learning, they will be able to read the words and characters in Jawi and memorize various Surahs with the guidance of the teachers.
Staffs & Parents
Collaboration With Parents
At Tadika Sri Selatan, parents are our esteemed partners. Study has shown that parents who are more engaged in educational activities at home are more involved in their child's early childhood settings, have more frequent communication with educators and rated educator communication effectiveness better.
Communication with Parents
Parent–teacher communication continues to evolve due to smartphones, devices and other new communication technologies.
Research findings indicate a significant positive correlation between parental in-school involvement and student reading scores. Researchers observed that Parent Involvement and Student Academic Performance are significantly related. It should be noted that parental involvement was measured by teachers’ perceptions of positive attitudes of people towards their children’s education, teachers, and schools. At Tadika Sri Selatan, we widely use social media applications like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and so on to communicate with parents.

Teacher Training & Orientation
Most of the teachers at Tadika Sri Selatan have over a decade of teaching experience in early childhood education. They are well-versed in English, Bahasa, and some of them are also trained in Mandarin
Our teachers are aware of the emerging knowledge related to early childhood learning and possess all the essential skills to enable them to successfully work with children and understand children’s individual preferences. Today’s early childhood classrooms seek child-focused learning and teachers who can pique children’s interest and help them achieve learning goals. Our teachers are adept in techniques to achieve the all round development of children aged 2 to 6 years, which ultimately lays a sound foundation for life.
Teachers at Tadika Sri Selatan receive an orientation at the beginning of every academic year. They have been trained in computer skills and phonics programs as well.
